Epic Rides – Whiskey Off Road Bike Challenge

Join Epic Rides and the City of Prescott for the Epic Rides- Whiskey Off Road Bike Challenge taking place in Downtown Prescott April 24 – April 26, 2015. This is the ultimate mountain bike event on Whiskey Row, put on by Epic Rides, the City of Prescott and the Prescott National Forest. Join us for this 3 day celebration that takes place final weekend of April each year. This year the event will feature live music, expo area and beer garden. In addition to the mountain bike ‘happenings’, event attendees will have 3 awesome days of opportunity to soak up mountain bike culture amongst downtown Prescott’s fine establishments including a large assortment of locally owned and operated bars, breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries, flowing streams, elm tree canopies and a sprawling courthouse lawn.


The Great Prescott Easter Egg Hunt

Come one come all to the Great Prescott Easter Egg Hunt happening downtown on the Courthouse Plaza. Egg Decorating brought to you by Hickman Eggs and First Baptist Church of Prescott starts and the Egg Hunt Carnival with games hosted by local businesses starts at 11:00am. The egg hunts occur at 12:00pm and 2:00pm. (2,500 eggs at each Hunt) Photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny at the Courthouse Gazebo starting at 12:30pm to 2:00pm, so bring your camera. Drink and snacks available at on the square. Wristbands are $5.00. Children need a wristband to participate in the event. Eggstravaganza at the Heritage Park Zoo

Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary is hosting its annual Eggstravaganza! Gates will open at 10am on Sunday, April 5th, 2015. Egg hunts will start at 10:30 with the 0-3 year old age group, followed by the 4-6 egg hunt at 11:00, the 7-9 egg hunt at 12:00 and the 10-12 egg hunt at 1:00. Animals will receive their own special Easter Egg hunt.


2015 Whiskey Row Marathon

Are You Tough Enough? As an Arizona running tradition for 36 years, the Whiskey Row Marathon is among the toughest races in the country. Featuring rugged terrain, an altitude in excess of one mile above sea level and, on occasion, severe weather, it’s challenging, fun and offers a number of running routes for runners of all skill and fitness levels, including a marathon, half marathon, a 10k and a two-mile fun run. This year’s event takes place Saturday, May 2nd.

The 2015 Shadows Heart 911 Run will be Saturday, July 11th, with races ranging from a 5k to 10.3 miles! All proceeds benefit the Shadows Foundation First Responders Heart Screenings. This year the race is dedicated in memory of Flagstaff Police Officer Tyler Stewart.
